I got the most wonderful news today. My team lead is getting transferred to a different team! *squee* When she told me, I tried to act all shocked and saddened, and really hoped my acting experience paid off there. Because the larger part of my brain had the Hallelujah chorus going full blast.
Also, I went to an audition. I think I did well, but I have no idea if I'll get cast. There were lots of talented people there. And I think I'm becoming much more enmeshed in the Madison theater scene, since at that audition, I knew five of the seven other people there, and one of them I just saw in Cuckoo's Nest. It's amazing, really. I've only been doing theater for a year and I know tons of people from it. It was a lot of fun, and the play has lots of profanity in it. But it's Mamet, so really, what can you expect?
Otherwise not much else is new. My muse is beginning to pester me about another prompt I saw, but I need sleep more, so he's just going to have to wait. Oh, question for the writers out there. Well, I guess queeberquabbler really. When you come up with ideas for stories/chapters/whatever, is it mainly based off of one line? Because, lately, for me, the prompt has helped push me in a direction, but there's one line that the story kind of branches off of.
