It's all about perspective

I got home from work yesterday and found a letter telling me there had been a banking error in my favour. Enclosed was a cheque for 53 quid from our pension provider.

I was pretty pleased. However, I arrive at work today and find out *everyone* got them all different amounts. A girl two desks down got more than 700 pounds.

Needless to say, I'm hoping for second prize in that beauty contest I entered. Just to balance things out.
