End of Steak N Shake?
So I've been seriously thinking about either quitting or cutting down my hours at steak n shake. Why you ask? Well as I've said before I am the fucking bomb digidy at texas holdem. I've been doing ridiculously well in the limit sit & go tournaments finishing in the money 8/9 times. Two second place finishes today out of two tournaments has only reinforced this thinking. On top of that business is really slow right now at steak n shake. Today I worked from 5-12 and made $30 in tips + 4.10 an hour. If you do the math it comes out to about 8.50 an hour, not bad, but not great. However, I spent roughly 3 hours playing poker today & made $76, which comes out to a little more than $25.25 an hour. Granted I can't always count on winning this consistently, even if I were to of played another tournament & lost in it I would still be at $12.00 an hour. Not too shabby if you ask me. I'd still probably work Friday & Saturdays at Steak N Shake because those are good money making days, but I'm actually giving this some serious thought, which is pretty sweet.
I'm also thinking about selling all my magic cards. I'm not sure, but if I found somebody right now who wanted to buy them I would most definitely sell. Eh, more to come later, maybe...
