4th edition D&D
So I have read the preview stuff, and read the reviews and looked at the character sheets and ect and I feel that as a game, it seems like it might be ok. However its not D&D anymore. It shares a few features with D&D, but no more than a lot of games out there (I mean, how many games have humans and elves and dwarves?). The alignment system seems to be "People whined so we gave them a way out" and the healing seems to be "wahh we need a healer to heal, I don’t want to have to play a healer" and....
I could go on, but why bother, in short I feel that the game was only given the D&D label to get more players and that a lot of the game came from either video games and complaints people have made about the old games(1-3).
I think, that if I want to play D&D I will just play the older editions, or Hackmaster. Or if desperate just make a game that has the feel I want.
