I have good news (/promo) and bad news....
Good news first! We FINALLY finished with stuff for Secret Garden. We open tomorrow for the middle schools. Our other performances are this Friday and Saturday in the evening, and this Sunday (matinee). The same next week, minus the Sunday. COME SEE IT! It's pretty awesome, and we've worked REALLY hard on it! I want lots of sold-out shows, okie? YAY! (See what I meant by promo?)
Not-so-good news....It looks like this is going to have been the last year of Marlin Synchronized Swimming. We're going to fight it, but they've been trying to do this to us for a good 5 years now, and they won't want to let go. It sucks. Horribly. These girls have become a second family (no kidding: you can only undress someone so many times before you become close), and Marlins is honestly my life (outside of the PA wing and Schol Bowl, of course), so this is going to be a HUGE blow. I want to cry. I LOVE this. I was so excited to learn more, too. But...unless we can magically like triple our numbers in like 2 weeks, we're pretty well sunk. I am insanely sad. I don't want it to end, especially like this.
