Please note that this is not a slash-friendly community for John Simm. When we first started the community, that was self-evident, but with the passage of time and addition of new members, we need to add that to the description ( Read more... )

Nudel, we'd prefer things to be linked or shared only if they're Life on Mars related. Otherwise, lifein1973 isn't the place either.

Sorry--I stopped going there regularly a while back. Do you have a good suggestion of a place for people to take the slashy? Or for members here who are looking for it?

Thanks!!

Depends on what tickles your fancy. If it's stuff about John's characters your interested in seeing/posting slash for, you could try lifein1973, but that's already been mentioned. There are ample communities for John's character's antics in Doctor Who, dw_slash and slash_lords to name just two. There's also a comm for Devil's Whore, devilswh0re and the exceptionally slashy state_of_play.

If RPF is more to your taste, you could try any one of the following: dw_rpf, brit_actor_rpf or angel_rpf.

Hope that's a good start...

I expect linking to slashy icons is still okay? I don't mean RPSy ones, but stuff related to the characters if it's not obtrusive and is just another icon post, yes? I wouldn't even dream of posting actual fanart or fic on here because it clearly isn't the right place for it (I don't know why anyone would think it was since there are so many comms for that sort of stuff anyway), but I expect icons are more of a gray area, yeah? Just wanted to check--I certainly don't want to flood the place with stuff that's not relevant:).
