[god i hope your computer rots while you're trying to raise the money to fix it. you make a horrible john mellencamp and this whole "don't touch bruce" thing? no one wants him. you two ruin the names.]
[Just to let know, as you probably do that the (( )) or [ ] means that they are talking out of character. And uhm do you personally know John or something to give you some right to judge him? Because we're just all doing this for fun, remember playing "prestend when you were little? It's a nice little espaced from the world.]
[Thanks very much for the RPG lesson, but I know that brackets indicate OOC. I don't know the person playing John, but I do see the way that person is playing a character, and the way the character is being played sucks.
You can have fun and be realistic, you know. But then, you wouldn't realize that, as you have Cyndi Lauper's son at around nine years old, and he's much younger than that, unless he magically aged between last year's tour with Cher and now.
If you're going to play a character, you should do the character justice. That's all I was trying to get across.]
[Uhm I don't remember where I mentioned the age of Declyn Wallace Thornton Lauper, but no one else playing a character has complained as how I am presenting her. I'm just going by interviews and others impression of her, it's hard to play the role of someone who is not seen in the public eye that much, such as Britney and Christina.]
[You once mentioned his age. I'm not saying it's easy to play a character that's not as well-known, but many people manage to do it without screwing up facts that aren't hard to find.
Obviously this is a game. But we're supposed to be giving an illusion here. Cyndi Lauper isn't going to talk about her nine-year old son and then bring a five-year old out on stage, just like John Mellencamp isn't goin to sit down for an interview as an intelligent human being and then come here and write like a 12 year old.
Also, it helps to explain things that happen "in real life". For instance, both John and Bruce are married in real life. One could easily explain that these marriages are "for the public" while the characters carry on a homosexual affair, but no - instead, you have Bruce marrying PAT BENETAR - also married in real life.
There's a difference between illusion and butchery.]
