I haven't seen this woman since I was 14. She used to carpool with my mom for St. Thomas Aquinas Pre-K. craziness.
and the other day Karen Caiden came and ate.
I haven't seen her in a while either. her son Taylor was friends with Maria since they were in kindergarden.
you never realize how many people you know and how many people know you until you work somewhere like a restaurant where everyone ends up eating at some time or another.

and i didn't have to sing happy birthday to anyone today.
it's kind of funny, because we all crowd around the table all enthused and bubbly and we sing...
then right after we're done we clap like five times then everyone scatters.

my mom just told me i look like beethoven from charlie brown because i was hunched over the keyboard. now she's humming the charlie brown theme song.
