Midweek update

Things aren't going so well for people at work. The guy who I had been working with had a liver transplant recently, and he's back in the hospital because the blood vessel going to the bile duct isn't working. Then today I hear that they let one of the trainers go. Apparently they want someone with more technical know-how. It's a shame because he started not long before I started, was a very good trainer and really good with writing training materials. Plus, he was close to retirement age. They gave him a really good severance package, so he might just sit back and enjoy his new granddaughter. Anyway, keep them in your thoughts and prayers, if you're so inclined.

I've been busy today with upgrading databases and training instances, but it's been quiet today. It's the calm before the storm, I'm certain.

The Braves almost no-hit Cleveland today. Even if it doesn't count, it's still pretty cool. The Sox aren't on MLB.com, so I'm listening to the Padres and A's.

I'm reworking my profile. A lot of the stuff was out of date or just not true anymore. I'll let you know when I'm done with it.
