I read somewhere that when Bruce Wayne returns there will be two Batmans so that Dick can continue to operate as Batman in BATMAN & ROBIN. This is cool, but I was thinking, how awesome would it be if for, say, six months or so, a limited engagement of that sort of duration, Bruce Wayne returned and let Dick keep being Batman and went around as Nightwing? The sheer WTFery of it would be pretty rad.
Alternately, next time Bruce Wayne goes off, maybe Dick and Jason Todd could split Batman duties as Batman-Blue and Batman-Red. They could team up to fight Superman under mind control from a psychic spore or something.
