Back in Sydney
We're back and had a great time. I decided my favourite place was Whakapapa, on the New Zealand North Island. The "Wh" is pronounced as an "F", and the rest of it sounds like UCK YER PAPA. Cool name, fun place.
We saw Priscilla - The Musical and I give it a double thumbs up. They announced at the beginning that Bill Hunter wasn't playing the part of Bob, the outback motor mechanic which was a little disappointing, however when the understudy showed up my jaw dropped. On the stage was this absolutely stunning hunk of Aussie "papa" in rugby shorts. And he SO wanted me! He just couldn't quite see me (we were sitting about a kilometre or so from the stage). If anyone can help me find out who he is I'd appreciate it. Google couldn't help.
We had a great time at Urge, the leather/bear bar in Auckland on the last night then a fantastic lounge service at the airport & tasty dinner on the flight home. So it was good fun and I look forward to going back sometime soon.
We are going to the South Coast this weekend then down to Melbourne the following week for some maintenance on my PC's. I'm reluctantly taking them all up to Vista, hardware upgrades & install a few more apps. My good buddy in Melbourne is a whiz with that stuff and can help.
