Carter knew Kim was bringing Leo in for a check up with Lester, and caught himself trying to keep an eye out for her. He told himself it was becuase of Leo, because he truly cared aboutthe boy and wanted to check on him and make sure he was doing well. And, some small part of him knew he wanted to see Kim as well.
