News of little import
DDR pad of doom is here and it's awesome! Yay! I played for about 10 songs tonight, and I actually enjoy DDR again!
First real graduate class is intimidating, but looks interesting. I will be reading a LOT of articles on operating systems over the next couple of months. And I've already fallen asleep in my undergrad Language/Compiler class...and we've only met once. And yet I still find the class interesting.
My wedding dress is in, and I've scheduled a fitting! I've lost over 20 pounds since I ordered the dress, so it probably will need some modifying.
I am too competitive. I always compare myself to other people. There is very little that can make me feel better about myself than finding out than I did better than everyone else at something...like the fact that I got the highest score in the class on my Operating Systems final last term.
We're having about 13 people (including us) to dinner next weekend (one of geekpdx's holiday traditions -and now mine too). Must clean and cook!
Sometimes I forget that I have a tattoo. Then I look in the mirror at the right angle when I get out of the shower and think, "HEY! What's that? Did I get something on my shoulder? Oh, no, it's just Oscar the Octopus."
