Got Chalk East Tour: Traffic

I learned a lot about driving during this trip. Not necessarily from NY where this pic was taken, but it came in handy the most here. At the start of all this I was very against city driving, it's just stressful, not knowing if you'll be able to maneuver through traffic in time or what have you. But once I got to GA I was riding with people who got their license in IA and were just tearing through downtown. That knowledge made me unafraid, not any better at city driving really. But aware that it's just cars on the road like any other time. And that confidence made me way better at sticking my nose where it 'doesn't belong' in traffic in order to pass accidents more effectively and get in the lane I need to be in. It also made it so I was less hung up about being in the way if the direction I was going was just fucking blocked.

Again, this is really an invaluable skill set... hopefully I don't have to use it all the time, but now I'm better prepared to. Like I really wasn't looking forward to getting the Billerica job because I'd be so close to Boston and have to deal with its traffic all the time but now it doesn't matter. I can really live anywhere. Anywhere I don't have to parallel park that is.
