A little poetry for Autumn

Oct 04, 2006 18:57

burning smoke fills the aire, as leaves turn from green to orange , yellow red, and the air comes chilled and tasting faintly of winter snows not far off, and the moon looks down full and yellow , while pumpkin faces cast shawdows of flame, and children watch the night for spooks and goblins.....days grow short as the nights grow long hiding within them the witches sabbats and ghostly dancing while black cats spryly waltz on picket fences.....October has come bringing Fall upon its heels
