I will not vote for Hillary Clinton. There are two reasons for this. First, if she wins this election and the next, we will have twenty years of only Bushes or Clintons in our nations highest office. Second, and more importantly, she is claiming experience that is not hers.
I am of the opinion that this Bush/Clinton thing is not good for democracy. In fact, I think that this would be worse than having McCain. So I would vote for him. I may not agree with many of his positions, but I don't fear him treading too hard on the things that matter most to me. I'm not sure of how much control a president has over the economy. I'm pretty sure we're going to have to be in Iraq for quite some time regardless of who gets elected.
Separately from this, I am personally disgusted by the fact that she claims eight years of experience as president. No man would ever claim his wife's work experience on a resume, and yet nobody seems to have a problem with a woman claiming her husband's. What she's really betting on people thinking in that 3 AM ad is not, "Good thing Hillary was there!" but rather, "OK, now she can roll over and ask Bill what to do. Obama can't do that." If we really need experience, Bush has twelve years, counting his father's presidency. Better vote for him.
