New year - new dress
After an autumn winter when I haven't done much at all I have an update. I decided on Saturday 29th of December that I needed a new dress for the Twelthnight ball on Friday the 4th of January. I had the fabric but it was not washed as I usually like to do before sewing. So I had to start by washing and ironing beforethe dress could be started. Luckily I could book a time in the laundry room for Sunday. Then I spent the new year sewing and was finished on the first of January. I thnk this is the fastest dress I've made. It shows on the inside where the seams are really crooked on the lining but on the outside it looks fine. The fabric is from a duvet cover that I bought a couple of years ago but was uncertain if the pattern was too big. Now that I made the dress I like it and I got many compliments at the ball.
