I wrote and published my second Wikipedia article

This is how I observed my 47th birthday... instead of partying, I wrote about my name... indulged in a total geek-out of personal philology and presented it in such a way as to inform the whole world about my name, formatted acceptably for an encyclopedia entry. I'm a Virgo, I would rather do something useful with my time in service to humanity.

I write for the sheer pleasure of writing. My first encyclopedia article was published in the Oxford Encyclopedia of the Modern Islamic World in 1995. I had also done all the bibliographic and linguistic fact-checking in that project. I went to John Esposito and told him I wanted to write for his encyclopedia. He immediately replied, "Give me 1500 words." When it was published, I not only was paid an honorarium for writing, they sent me a free copy of the encyclopedia in recognition of my editorial work. Just saying that I'm not a newbie at encyclopedic writing.

I published my first Wikipedia article half a year ago...

...and you know what's a totally bizarre coincidence, both articles feature the surprising discovery of an empty tomb...

I love brainy women, you're the audience I write for, mmmmMWA love you...
