I dreamed I was staying in someone's house in Andhra Pradesh, southern India. For the first half of the dream I was reading a long and involved letter someone sent me there. Then Emily Saliers walked in and we had a long talk about all kinds of things, mainly music. I wanted to know how she had found me there, since no one else in America knew where I had gone. As we talked, she mixed various herbs and powders in a cauldron to make some Ayurvedic medicine for me. I played a Telugu song for her whose melody was plagiarized verbatim from an American song, and was about to give a long list of Indian songs plagiarized from American music, when she decided we needed to stop talking so much and share hugs. She lay me down on the bed and climbed on top of me, and we hugged for a long time.
(I definitely liked hugging her, but wish I had asked her to sing for me!)
