We've just had a cold snap around here. The other morning I was walking for several blocks through downtown Rockville to a business appointment. The freezing winter wind was blowing hard... I hadn't worn an overcoat, thinking it wouldn't be that cold. I was wearing a knee-length skirt suit. The upper half of my body was badly chilled by the biting Arctic blasts, I felt terrible discomfort.
But the lower half of my body didn't even feel cold at all. I was wearing microfiber tights. Merely a pair of cheap L'Eggs I'd found at Safeway. I found this highly ironic and amusing... because I'm always told "You can't wear skirts in the cold winter!" And here my legs were the only warm part of me.
Microfiber is soft, beautiful, fashionable, affordable, and very comfortable, it "breathes." And now I find out it keeps you warm too. Is there anything not good about it?
