wow im getting bad at this
alrighty....i know its been forever. but yeah. school officially started. should i say yay or boo. i dunno anymore. but yeah of course the campus is packed and what not but my classes arent that bad i guess. well....i have 16 units as ive mentioned before and i did get stressed and overwhelmed the first week. but thats cuz all the teachers went over all the work over the semester and i freaked out. but now im cool. taking one day at a time.
so am taking edel 300 which is just an education class and that should be pretty easy. physical science....and i hate science....so this is the class im worried about. already we have an experiment where we have to look at the stars...and yeah i havent started. haha. i am also taking a one unit class that specializes in special education. so that should be interesting. but it only meets 5 times in the semester. so not a bad deal. i am taking a methods class for reading and language. that one is where i have to do alot of stuff for but she tells us the week in advance and it doesnt seem that bad. i am taking PE for elementary kids....so far my favorite class. we learn all about PE and what not adn then we actually get to do it. The other day we played some games and we all got soo competitive...it was funny. and then finally i am taking childrens literature. soo much fun and my teacher is awesome. weve been reading fables and folktales and now we're gonna be reading fairy tales like snow white, rupunzel, hansel and gretel, and so on. this class should be pretty cool also. so so far my classes are fine not too challenging but the only thing is that i have to do alot of extra hours in an elementary school. practially call my classes want me to observe something. so i should be keeping myself busy with that. and thats school! so far 3 weeks down 13 more to go. hahah.
alrighty.....one more bit of school news...i do have to take the CSET on sat. and i heard this test is hard and i bought a test prep thingy and i stressed myself out. boo. but ill go in being calm and what happens happens. i should pass math like no problem. but we'll see what happens. some people have said it was hard others have said it was kinda tough. and my dumbass schedules all three sections on one day. thats 5 hours. oy! and at 730 in the morning! these people are crazy. anyways we'll see how i do...wish me luck!
so moving right along......ive been busy. not going out soo much since school started but just hanging out with eric as much as i can. hes gonna be leaving soon to santa cruz to go to school. hes only going for a year and this quarter should go by quickly hopefully. i hope to see him at least once a month. im gonna be sad but at least with him gone i can focus on my school work for the time being. but yeah he leaves next week =(
what other news can i talk about......work is work. lots of people quit...so of course the rest will feel it later with extra shifts and what not. jenn got a disneyland pass so now i have a buddy to go along with...yay! its stefs 30th bday party on saturday. im excited. that should be lots of drunken fun. hehe and i already have the day off so yay!. ooh and then of course vegas in nov. for judys 21st! should be lots of fun as well. we already booked the room at the hilton and so im looking forward to it. i cant wait. plus eric is gonna go also so that would be one of the times i get to see him. alrighty well other then that i am done. iwill be posting another update in a month. haha it just feels like that....ooh well. i swear im not that interesting but oh well. =)
