Should be studying...
So, I should be studying.. but I would rather be in bed with the tissue box (ANOTHER cold coming on) reading 'Pretty Bird'. This is a novel about a young girl in Sarajevo in 1992 who goes from being a basketball star to an even more proficient sniper.
I have promised myself that for every 4 pages of textbook I read, I can read 4 pages of my novel. I would say it's been more like 8 pages of novel for every 2 pages of textbook. Needless to say, I am behind on the textbooks and almost finished the novel. Bugger!!
Anyway, I have dedicated at least 10 hours to essay writing, etc. this weekend, interspersed with the first AFL game of the season (go Swannies), coffee with girlfriends as a break from their shopping marathon on Sunday (not me - I am saving for a house and besides I am obsessed with online retail therapy), yoga, pilates and some serious waxing (as opposed to the humorous kind!).
So now I will probably go back to reading my novel, as I know I really shouldn't.
