Telly is love. ♥

Ok, I was finally going to do a proper entry but I couldn't really figure out what to say. I had two messed up exams this week and today I made lasagnea for the first time ever. It turned out gooood. ♥ Tomorrow I plan to bake. That's pretty much all that's happened lately.

So, what I'm going to write about today is... Television proggrams! Yay!
I've had the feeling that I don't watch half as much TV as I used to, so I began listing all the shows I'm fallowing and why...

America's Next Top Model: This is only like the best reality-show ever! IT's got drama, luxury and pretty pictures - besides deep, very deep inside almost every girls has once dreamed of being a model. Besides eating chocolate and watching sickenly thin people is extremely satisfyong in a very twisted way. XD Although this season has been very confusing since I haven't really had a favourite at any time. O.o Brooke was funny but... I don't know. Melrose pisses me off by being oh-so-perfect but if she doesn't win, then who does? It would be crappy reality-TV though if you could tell the winner right from the start.
Cycle 1 is the only season I haven't seen and that annoys me.

Big Bang Theory: I have to record this one coz it's aired simultaniously with ANTM but it's definitely worth it - it's hilarious!  Especially when you get all the nerd-jokes etc. Sheldon is my absolute favourite: he's so hateable you just have to love him. x) I rarely watch sit-coms coz usually they're plain dumb, but this one's really witty and highly entertaining.

Desperate Housewives: I have to admit I was a bit bored with this but now that they're skipped five years... I'm all in again! It was an extremely bold move from the producers but it paid out. I'm so curious about what has happened, why are things like this, what will happen... This is one of the few proggrams I actually wait throughout the week. It's so captivating and suprising.

The Black Donnellys: Monday really is the day to watch TV, aye? I must say at first I wasn't too crazy about this one coz it's aired so late and pretty violent but since Arttu kept watching it... I kinda got into it. My inner enthusiasm for all mob-things got the best of me. And now I love it. ♥ It's truly high-class drama and the actors are really convincing. And if there's nothing else you can always drool over Tommy (Jonathan Tucker♥. But seriously, the plot surrounding personal growth and choices is fasicnating: can we really choose who we become or is destiny something you can't avoid? Can good intentions make you a bad person? I can't wait to see how it continues.

Prison Break: At first when this season began I wasn't excited at all. It felt like the whole thing had gotten worn out and when Arttu watched it I was only paying attention with my left eye. But now, I don't know, it has gotten more interesting? I was all eyes and ears last Tuesday waiting to see how they'll get out of this mess. It simply is such a brilliant show you can't resist it. (They killed Sara I can't believe it! ;;_______;;)

House: Who wouldn't love grumpy old Hugh Laurie dispising everyone? I hated the House-will-go-to-jail -plotline but now that we're done with it maybe this show'll get more interesting again. His sarcasm and cynicism are surprisingly entertaining though sometimes I'm bored with the episodes: mystery, can't solve, can't solve, can't solve... someone comes up with the mastersolution just before it's too late. This show could do with something new and exciting. But I'll watch it anyway, I need my weekly doze of House.

Hotel Babylon: This is the kind of show I love but if I miss a couple of episodes, it's not the end of teh world. Saturday night isn't excatly the best possible time to air a show of this quality. Brits rarely make good comedy/drama but this is a positive surprise. The characters are definitely the main attraction: they're so amazing and well played. They're like a bunch of you're old friends getting together once a week. I highly recommend this to everyone, especially the ones like me who just love hotels.

These are probably the most important proggrams for me now. I watched Idols as long as the harsh eliminations by the judges were on but now I just don't want to listen to people sing (badly) - mostly coz I have no favourite and those over-the-top-wannabe-rockers annoy me. I like Coop. he seems sincere and can pronounce (don't sing in English if you simply can't!) but there's no way he'll win. This seems more and more like a show for kids.
The other show I watch when I have absolutely nothing better to do is Big Brother. I know, probably the worst kind on television ever but when you're really bored it's nice to know some people are doing even worse. It was somewhat entertaining when Niko and Andreas wre still there but now it's just pathetically boring. They just sit on the couch angsting aroud. Blah.
I watched the first episode of Mad Men and it seemed rather promising but we'll see... I'm thrilled about the era but hopefully the show'll live up to it.

This was a half an hour well spent. ^o^
