21/7/2007: Harry wakes up and it was all a dream.

I finished reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows a few day ago and Merlin's pants is was awesome. I was barely able to put it down. J.K.R has the kind of enchanting way of writing you simply can't lay the book off of your hands. Maybe it wasn't the most logical ensemble, but entertaining and captivating indeed. A worthy ending to marvellous series of books I'd say. It's so very easy to get locked up inside that world you wouldn't believe it... I've decided to read all the previous parts again (though in Finnish cuz I on't own them all in English -yet).
Now, don't worry, I wont' spoil the book for you cuz if anyone would have one it to me... I would've gone all Voldemort on them. Spoilers ought to be hanged.
But can't resist telling you one bit about the book: "NOT MY DAUGHTER YOU BITCH!" \,,/
This truly is the end of an era. *snif*
(I still find Tom Riddle to be the most fascinating character in the books.)

I should stay up for a couple more hours since my parents are returning from they're trip to Hungary and I ought to let them in once they're home. Shouldn't be a problem since since last night completely destroyed my sleeping habits anyway hence the humongous strom raging so furiously I couldn't even sleep. Tonight seems to be no different. *sigh*
Now that my parents have been gone for a week I've forced myself to learn something quite strange to myself: cooking. (For those who don't know, my cookings have always been a disaster, even in household lessons I wasn't allowed to be responsible for anything but the salad or a simple dessert.) Against all odds I havent' even messed anything up! I found this great site where people can share resipes with each other so I picked up a few good ones there, like stuffed paprikas and a chicken-pasta-casserole. I must even admit that I enjoyed serving food to my little brother and my boyfriend -it was nice. (And no, no one has died.)

I'm off to read HarrY Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. He just had his first flying lesson. *double snif*

bookaholic, good
