Spiders and Vinegroons
So I got my first big history paper back and it was kind of like a kick to the stomach. Informative, but gut-kicky nonetheless. Just more work to do. I got a 70% but judging by the prof's comments, I feel I didn't deserve even that. I've got a meeting with her tomorrow, so maybe I'll glean some more info there. Something tells me I need to be a little less wordy and just write the boring ol' paper. Owell.
Remember when I said that the laptop was doing well for my education? Well when you add Civilization 4 to the equation, not so much. I'm doing all in my power to read about the Christianizing of Britain rather than going out and Christianizing it my DAMN self.
So it looks like I'm gonna be going to see NIN and Queens of the Stone Age after all. I'm pretty damnably excited as I'd figured it was a lost cause. What other chance am I going to have to see two bands that I've dedicated so much listening time to. I'm frankly alot more interested in seeing Queens again. Trent's latest effort was thoroughly meh, while it seems Josh Homme can do no wrong, even without Nick Olivieri.
Death From Above will be a nice little bonus too.
