Here is a Van Gogh easy That I did, back in 12th grade in Good old Wall High School. This was for Painting 1.
If a blind person came up to me and asked what
Van Gogh’s Portrait of Trabuc looks like. I would say it’s an oil on
canvas painting. The painting is a serious looking man posing from
the chest up. The man is wearing a jacket buttoned on top and
slightly open. The color of the button is an off white. He has a
pocket on the left side of his jacket. The wavy lines in his jacket
look like the age lines of the cross section of a tree. The color of
the jacket is like a soft light greenish blue with dark black bluish
wavy lines. The back ground is a dull soft blue green with a little
bit of yellow. In the back ground you can see the thick vertical
brush strokes. The man is older probably in his late 70’s and has
wrinkles. The wrinkles on his neck look like ridges that blowing
in the wind makes on the sand in a desert. He has a mustache that
looks scruffy like a snauser dog. The color of it is a dull green
bluish color and the same for his hair. His hair is short and
receding. The man’s race is white with a dark complexion. He
looks like he is wearing a bowtie that looks like it’s in a knot.
The bowtie color is black with a little bit of blue in it, and a white
collared shirt. His nose is rather large and regal looking. Also
there is also dark lines, similar to the jacket, are repeated in his
mustache, eyebrows and hair. His eyes are a dark brown color.
The man looks like he is dressed from the late 1800’s or early
1900’s.
