Woohoo!!!
So I've had a pretty kick ass couple of days.
Sunday I worked and it was awesome b/c I got time and a half. I met this really cool girl at work her name is Katie and she is super sweet and super fun. She and her boyfriend gave me a ride home which was sweet. Monday I did some homework and relaxed with the puppy. Went to work and got picked up by Jenn. Then I saw my first episode of Heroes. OMG...I really need to watch the first season b/c it keeps pissing off my parents b/c I keep asking who's who and what not. So on the to do list is get season 1 of heroes.
Today I had class which were both pretty good. My history professor is a little old man who just gives lectures, but he is one of those professors that you have to listen too b/c he always throws in some humor. Then I had my Sociology class. My professor is BOMB! She is really smart and young(she's like 30 which is really rare for a professor) and she has lots of life experience in the field. But there is this dude that I might beat with a blunt object before the semester is over, he never does the readings so he is always asking dumb questions or making comments that have nothing to do with the subject. We got our research paper assignments today to. She had a list of topics but if there was topic that really interested us, so I asked if I could do a paper on Tattooing and how it went from a taboo to a norm. And she was cool with it.
Then I got out of class and drove to get my mom at the train(b/c my sister didn't have work I got to use her car), We went to Costco to pick up some things and the Shoprite. Then home to chill with the puppy and eat dinner. I did my spanish homework after dinner watched some tv and got a phone call from Grandma Rothenburg, we are gonna make plans to hang out next week. Then I watched Kevin Smith's new show "Reaper". It was great. It was a really good dark comedy, it kinda reminded me of "Dead Like Me" but different b/c he still has his social life, b/c he is still alive. Came downstairs and planned my trip to Amish Country with my mom and my sister which we are making in 2 weeks. Then looked around online some more and discovered that Henry Rollins is doing a spoken word show next thursday, then discovered that The Academy Is... is doing a show in Oct, and THEN that Bon Jovi and My Chemical Romance are playing a show the day b4 The Academy Is... So I Imed nolee and told her this exciting info. Soooo...we are going to see Bon Jovi and My Chemical Romance with my sister for the first show ever at the new Prudential Center. Then the next night we are going to see The Academy Is... at the Starland Ballroom(where I've never been either) I'm gonna try to get tickets for Henry Rollins tomorrow we shall see how that goes.
