Well this has been quite a day.......
Tricia my baby had her job interview today, and she went great.....just like I knew she would......proud of you babe
aaaaaaaand guess what else........the surprise came today......I was so excited for her,and excited myself that she was getting them.......the smile in her voice made my day
I also went to see the X-Man movie which got released today.....
I went to the movie with low expectations.....
which was proabably a good thing, but i liked it.
Of courese there were a few things off kilter, but given the years and years of mytho's that surround the characters that was only to be expected. The characters were played well by the actors and there was an actual semblence of a plot.....Impressive.
I thought Hugh Jackman played a decent Wolverine, althought the character wasn't necessarily " the best at what he does in the comic" I thought he shoulda taken out Mystique was easier than he did, and that he was manhandled way to easy by Sabretooth during their first encounter. The triangle between Wolverine, Jean and Scott was well handled and it was a great moment when Logan gave Cyclops the finger (uhh..claw *LOL*)
The relationship between Rouge and Wolvie was also Intriuging although a lttle similar to the Kitty/Logan or Jubilee/Logan from the comics.
Prof X and Magneto were both well portrayed and the way that Rouge gained her white streak in her hair was a nice touch.
Plenty of scope left for a sequel as per expected....
Go see it make up your own mind, the special effects were reminesent of the matrix, spectacular and enjoyable.......damn I think I got a new entry in my top ten!!!!
