18. Would you rather have someone who remembers everything, but is emotionally sheltered or someone who forgets everything, but expresses themselves very well? (remembering = your anniv. - no pickles on your burger, your birthday, etc.) I would much rather have someone who expresses themselves well. Anyone who knows me at all knows that I hate playing stupid games and would much rather just tell someone how I feel than try to make them "get it" by saying things that don't get to the point. Dates are fleeting, who cares about them? To be honest, I could care less if no one remembered that they had known me for one more year. Big freakin deal. Wow, you must really be my friend since you can remember a Month/Date combo. Give me someone who can tell me to my face that I have ketchup on my pants, or that I'm really pissing them off every time I play my trumpet.
19. How did "douche" possibly become a name to call people? Nobody wants to be a vaginal wash fluid, nor the bag that holds it. Vaginas are gross. Case closed.
20. Is it great to get kissed unexpectedly or what? :) Not if it's by a hobo.
21. Would you rather date someone who talks all the time or someone who hardly ever talks to you? Ha, for me both of those relationships would be hard to handle. There are plenty of girls and guys who talk a "regular" amount, no need to waste times with the fringe ones.
22. Would you rather date someone who would debate you on your toast being browned enough or someone who wont debate you on whether the sky is blue when you are screaming it is yellow!? This is almost the same as the arguing question. I love a friendly debate. I should have been in debate club in high school if only it wasnt so structured and nerdy. Plus, I think they always talked about political issues, which is fine but I can only handle so much of.
23. Would this be a good wikihow read "how to deter Dave Hague from warcraft"? *Sigh* It is only more and more apparent that people dont understand. Which one of these statements do you think is closer to reality? A) Dave doesn't want to do anything because he would rather play Warcraft? B) Dave does not find the same joy he used to in doing different activities for whatever reason, therefore does not have the motivation to do them. In his extra time, he plays Warcraft. Well, from my wording it's pretty clear the way I feel about it. The warcraft is situational, not causal.
24. Aren't questions a great way for all of us to express ourselves? geez i cheat on these questions, don't i? Jealous? pwnd. I am glad I answered the questions. They took up time at work while I was waiting for 5PM. Plus, it gives me a chance to put thoughts of my own down on paper where I normally would not.
dave...you may hate me for what I'm about to say...but I don't care...I think it needs said...all this that you say about warcraft is bullshit to me...and yeah I can understand trying to avoid the everyday...when I was younger I was severly depressed...I did nothing...cared about nothing...it was about as bad as depression can get.....and one day I realized I can't live like this...you have to change it yourself....you have to take that step...and deal with everything after it...it seems hard...but once you do it...it gets better..and easier...you know what you need to do...do you really want to feel this way the rest of your life...and I'm just telling you this cause you are a good friend to me...I want you to be happy....and to tell you the truth I miss the old dave...and I hate thinking that..so hopefully this helps...it may just piss you off..but I thought it...so I said it...and I would say it to you in person if you wanted me to..and give you a hug...though I may not see you today..sigh...if you ever need to talk or just a hug..I hope you know I'm always around
I'm not so positive about the situational angle of warcraft you propose. 1)As, it seems that lots of times you are complaining about how we should go play volleyball or football. We try to do these things, but instead you play warcraft. This seems causal more than situational, as you've stated that you want to do the things we are going to do.
2) If you really felt is was so situational, why wouldn't you get people together to find something even more fun to do? Bowling perhaps? Partying? 2168 Summit Street Debate Club? if x > warcraft. Why don't you find x? I would think causality.
As a side note to you dave, I feel I may becoming more Libertarian in my political ideals. You may have been right in more cases than I have given you credit for. only time will tell.
