I feel the rush of thoughts coming on and the easiest way to relieve them is to spread them around in different areas. It is like walking down the buffet and deciding where to distribute different items on your plate while still leaving room for future possibilities. What if you find golden dish number one and bronze dish number 4 has too much area covered? Additionally your cup is not equipped to handle these dishes; it is for something you cannot rationalize as it being a solid decision. So, your plate may have some empty space in the end...is that so bad? You may have room for something amazing, but at the same time still getting to try what had at least some type of attraction.
Moving along the tracks into the next passing day desert comes along. Much smaller plate, but the reward could be something worthy of love. The decision here is far more specific and digs a little deeper into your heart. No one wants to stuff their desert plate with something that ends up having a hair in it or has began to become smothering to you. So, you contemplate first, stare a little and imagine what the taste may be. Could this be the desert that makes me realize I can have all that I wanted? Or should I have stopped after my meal and just went back to my lonely little corner? Think....think...think....and there you have it. While deciding you realize, "this one is worth the risk" and so you dive in and lather up your plate with it. As you walk back to table you taste it a little and realize things are looking good for your future. Sitting down, your mouth waters as you have a glimpse of happiness ahead. You enjoy the first bite...it is enticing and truly spectacular for your desire to feel loved.
Finally, it hits you! This desert must last a while or I will just be greedily expending too much emotion all at once! What the fuck! - "waiter! Get me a box!" - This desert is coming home with you and you have a few things to discuss before you let it become a permanent part of yourself! No one gets inside of me without letting me taste the edges first! So, there you are, heading home with a small piece of what could turn out to be the rest of your life (and some free spoons for shaping to boot!).
