11. Can you truly know what love is without knowing heartbreak? It is not possible to go through life without some heartbreak. Even if it was, small things that don't affect people who have a rocky relationship would seem like heartbreak to those who have never experienced strong heartbreak (think of something like "he hasnt called in 10 minutes" to a 14 year old girl, this can be heartbreak but to a married couple it might actually be a relief). The scale is just different. Life without heartbreak? Not a chance. Love without heartbreak? Well if you know anything about subsets... ok I guess I will stop there. Unless you are talking about zombie love (disjoint set), in which case all bets are off. Aaaand I've lost you all most likely, time to stop typing.
12. Is it better to argue or not to argue? ARGUE! I love arguing. I could argue for hours. Unless I'm really pissed, and then I will just retract and keep to myself. You know I'm unhappy with you if I don't talk to you at all. Arguing is one of the healthiest things you can do. It makes no sense to keep the anger inside you (there are two exceptions: [1] You can not express the anger in a constructive way (this is what happens when I get really really angry) [2] The other person will not concede any points, even faced with undeniable results. My step mother is one of these people. In this case there is no hope of continuing, and frying pan upside the head is in order.) Letting out the anger in a constructive manner lets the other person know why you are angry and sometimes if both people are doing the same, the fight can be resolved amicably and with good results for both parties.
13. Is it possible to always feel like the glass is half full or will it eventually flip? There are highs and there are lows in life. Those who are happy are the ones that can grind thier teeth and press on when times get rough. Bend but don't break. Change is inevitable, growth is optional. Sometimes the glass will seem to go crazy, but then you just have to reorient yourself to see that it's actually you that lost your perception and the glass hasnt changed, it's still full :)
14. Is sex driven by emotion or by attraction? (if neither then which is more accurate) What perplexes me is that you gave an option for neither but not for both. Sex is clearly based on both an emotional and physical attraction to the opposite person. Humans have to have their need to be needed fulfilled, both emotionally and physically.
15. Is the cliche statement, "It's better to have loved and lost then to never have loved at all" true? or did that person not have the experience of heartache? I would not trade for even a moment any of the relationships in my life, even the bad ones. This includes both love relationships and friendsips/archnemesises. At some point you were happy. That memory can not be taken from you. Unless of course it's done by Elija Woods and his after-school buddies. At which point you can make a stupid movie about it and steal my $8 in exchange for your memory.
16. Can a bear protect a stash of cookies from Amanda? (without reading the wikihow on Amanda cookie stash stealing?) The wild bear is a creature that relies on size and brute strength to protect itself and its kin. The wild amanda is a creature that relies on her crumblust and passion for frosting to get what she wants. The wild amanda is a pack hunter, and often times at night you will hear the alphamanda of the pack howling at the great cookie in the sky, what we call the moon. The great cookie taunts the alphamanda and her pack, driving them into frenzies of crumblust that no bear can survive.
17. is there really a "right guy" or a "good guy" or is all relative? ( not everyone is allowed to say it relative, that is an easy answer!) You ask the most jarbled questions. Everyone can find a person who is right for them. Please refer to question #3. There are plenty of good guys and good girls. However, there are equally many "bad guys" and "bad girls". The real fun is in the hunt. Sorry, still in animal mode, from question 16. However, these two sets are non-exclusive as well, so a potential mate could be in 1, both, or none of these groups.
18. So, is this really question 18? or not? and does "or not" make 19? and now 20? oh crap! Browns vs. Eagles. Tonight. 7:30PM. If you arent watching you're gay. There I said it.
