MCDOUGLE SHOT
Ok this has been bothering me for a while and i'm just now getting around to posting something about it.
Jerome McDougle is a defensive player for the Philadelphia Eagles. He was shot in the stomach in Miami a few weeks ago by some carjackers, he's going to miss the season probably, ok whatever, thats not the part that bothered me...
what bothered me is that on Channel 6 - Philadelphia's local ABC station, they felt the need to make a graphic since i guess someone figured they're going to be talking about this story for a while, so why not make a graphic? Ok well this was no ordinary graphic. It was McDougle's picture with text underneath stating "MCDOUGLE SHOT", which, in itself really isn't too offending... but right to the left of the graphic, they had BULLETS. FUCKING BULLETS. Who the fuck gave the OK to run this graphic? And is the local media so obsessed with violence that they have to run a graphic with Mcdougle's picture, MCDOUGLE SHOT in huge capital letters, and fucking BULLETS NEXT TO IT?

i really wish i could find that graphic, i did a quick search on google to see if they posted it on the wpvi website somewhere, but to no avail. It seriously was some shit.
