Goodybye, Bucky, and it's Waaay Too Early

Well, I can't really complain much since I don't actually vote for American Idol (hey, Fox, take a cue from USA Network and do online voting...much less hassle than trying to get through on a busy phone line and much cheaper than texting), but I am sorry to see Bucky go. Just when I thought he was coming into his own. Although, I suppose had it not been him, it would've been Ace and then I would've lost my reason to desire licking the television screen every Tuesday night. Alas, I'm guessing that my least favorite, Kelly Pickler, will be around till near the end...which is a shame since the girl seems to butcher not only the English language, but just about every song she sings (I do give her props for most of her performance of 'Bohemian Rhapsody' though...she didn't kill the entire thing, just large portions of it).

It's 0432 and I leave for work in 28 minutes (give or take) and I don't want to go. It's a 45 minute drive (more or less) and I just have this fear of falling asleep as I drive the 15 miles down the empty...dull...boring road just to get to the nearest 7-11 (for caffiene) and the expressway. *sigh* I was actually sleeping fairly well (once I got to bed) when suddenly my bedroom and my house were full of noise. My six-year-old was up...something about being scared of her closet. I have no idea what time it was, I was barely coherent, but then she was in the living room watching Disney Channel on full volume (and couldn't even tell you what she was watching...I only know Disney becuase it blasted me out when I turned on the television this morning for me) and then she was in bed with us. So, the bed was way crowded (she insists on sleeping on MY pillow) and that was it for me for the night...barely asleep...on the verge of waking up, dealing with not one, but TWO snorers. *sigh*

A side note to TBS - would it be too much of a problem to run your movies from 3-5 instead of 4-6 in the morning...that way I could stop being late because I'm drawn into a movie and want to see the end...even if it's one I've already seen. This morning it's, "A Walk to Remember" and I'm going to have a really hard time pulling myself away.

On top of it all...I can't find my blue scrub top and I'm just not in the mood to wear my raggedy ann and andy one, but it looks as if that will be my choice for today. *sigh* Chipper today...I am not...hell, I'm barely awake, but I think I mentioned that once or twice already.

Oh and another thing! *snort* Geez...I'm on a roll and I'm sure I've lost everybody already, but I've said it before and I'll say it again...my journal...don't wanna know...go bye-bye!

Anyway...I write fanfic...I like reviews...it feeds my ego, but I hate reviews that are generic...especially if the person says the same thing everytime to everyone. "Great update. More soon." Or something along those lines. It's frustrating. It's the most frustraing in places where it's clearly the END of the story. I mean, how much attention are they actually paying to what they are reading? (*snort* Sidebar - TBS "Secret Lovers" Commercial for Lord of the Rings is on.) So, if they don't even realize it's the end, how can they really comment? Or, I have a set of One-Offs and someone commented on my "great story" when it was actually four or five (forgot how many now) with different characters (except for of course, the actors). *shakes head* So, I love reviews, but I love reviews that show that the person has read what they are commenting on. I mean, I'm not saying that I always give kick ass reviews, but I at least TRY to say something specific about what I've read...at least if the chapter hasn't left me speechless as some have in the past.

And now, it's time to get dressed, pull out clothes for the girls, and get in the car. *sigh*
