I put my headphones on to listen to the song on my page "Over The
Rainbow" by Bill Frisell. It's really good, and sort of soothing.
What's more important, however, is that every time I move the
mouse there is a sqweaking noise in the headphones! At first I just
thought that the cord here at the UCC was being stupid . . . but then I
plugged it into the computer itself and it still makes that noise. It
makes a louder noise when I used the scrolling thing in between the two
buttons. AHHHHH! Am I shrooming?
I'm listening to "Home" by
Michael Bublé. This song is amazing. I don't know if this happens to
anyone else: You're listening to a song that RANDOMLY sparks some sort
of crazy emotional trance to come over you. The hair on your neck
stands up and you get the chills. Your throat closes a bit and tears
well up in your eyes as if you were going to start crying right then
and there. You're struck with that overwhelming emotional blanket that
only covers you when something great hits you. These humanistic qualities are beautiful. It reminds me that everything will be okay, even if I'm not
thinking that something won't. That's a good thing to think about for
this upcoming holiday season. For some reason, at this moment, it just
all seems serene.
If you haven't heard the song, find it and take
a good listen. It might just do your heart some good. Take the empty
moments you have and fill them with something beautiful.
P.S. I hope everyone's finals go good! Good luck in juries tomorrow!
