I wrote this on Wednesday, but the warragul computers wouldn't let me post it:
I got here fine yesterday - it’s really not that far away at all, it didn’t even take me two hours. I think from the city, it’s only an hour and a half!
Anyway, the accommodation is okay. It’s a little archaic (although I prefer the term ‘retro’ - bright orange and brown carpets and the like), but okay. It is spacious and clean, but unfortunately the only cooking facilities are a microwave and one electric hotplate. And we don’t have a freezer! I was devastated - no ice cream!
We had a yummy dinner last night, Ailin cooked risotto. And Cat brought natural confectionary company lollies.
The people in emergency seem pretty nice too. It is technically four cubicles, but there is also a resus cubicle, two consulting rooms and a treatment room, so really eight. And they put people in the corridor as well.
So all in all, a promising start!
