"Always Something There to Remind Me"
Yes, I still have that song stuck in my head, and I may or may not have been dancing a bit at work yesterday as a result. It's all good, I'm having fun.
Speaking of which, things are progressing at work, though I can't comment on any of the specifics really. Both because I'm not really supposed to, and because I REALLY don't want to jinx anything.
Also, tomorrow's my birthday, and it's funny, normally I don't mention a word about it to anyone. It just kind of comes, and invariably I do something last minute, but it's never a big deal. Like last year when Michele dragged me to Mulcahy's and I saw the Benjamins. This year, it's turned into a very big deal. There was Poker the other night, tonight I see the family, ((And my grandfather who I hate with an absolute passion surpassed only by the religious zeal of Mel Gibson's father, isn't going to show up unwanted and say annoying things to piss me off as per usual)), and then wendsday all the guys are taking me out to Dinner at Chilli's after work. We were gonna do this place Croxley's where we can get 10 cent wings, but Karwacki and Capriglione aren't 21, so they can't get in. And I'm sorry, you can't have a party without those two, so Chilli's it is. Brian's even gonna make it out for the night, so that is just awesome.
Long story short, this is the first birthday in years I've looked forward to this much. I really can't remember the last one I was so excited about. It's nice, a definite change of pace for me.
So happy birthday to me. Time for me to break out that bottle of Johnny Walker the pimp got me.
