in office, a macro is scripted code to peform a sequence of tasks (such as a mailing) that's why there are "Word Macro Viruses" which will wait for an event "such as typing a trigger word" and fill the screen with garbage

sending encrypted notes in class would be dumb except for the geeks who has the "key" well beforehand and memorized. It's just damn easier to let computers do the encryption these days... ::lol::
