As another month or so has flown by, I found the need to update with some actually fun information.
First, work. Deliberations continue on the status of my raise; I was supposed to be informed today, but alas, was not. I'm not too worried since I've been doing so much for the district lately, and I've earned respect with the District Manager (who is in charge of the raise). In January I learned how to assist customers begin their Bridal Registry. Since the Registry Consultant has a great deal to do with what and how products and services are presented, they track our performance to determine how well we can get these couples to register for the better merchandise. Currently, I am the top performer in the store. I have been asked to go to the Webster store for a second time because they have a Fine China room and they only trust the best consultants to work it. Normally, only the Department Manager and our store's previous top consultant (before I was trained and started kicking his ass) work it. It's fun, but there are almost no customers in the store on a night shift. My only complaint is that it's boring.
My sociology teacher is leaving mid semester. I feel like he was pressured to leave, but it doesn't really matter to me. After hearing that his pop singing ex-fiancee with bulemia and anorexia killed herself, I feel that it's just as well that he leaves. He's very awkward and I almost feel bad for him. But if he sees you smiling in class he calls you out on it, which I find uncalled for.
That's all I have time for today, the Daily Show is on and I am more interested in that than my boring repetitious life (that came out more depressing than intended)
