screaming in the snow

as the snow began to fall, an amazing feeling began to emerge
it filled the air throughout the city and it was indescribable
you knew it was meant to be but its still hard to believe
ive seen a lot of teams of mine win
but the bulls spoiled me
for years, the sox dissapointed me
and then they won and it was great
but this, this is different
this team holds an entire city in its grasp
the sox, the cubs..they hold only half
but our bears...and yes they are ours, all of us
they are chicago, they are hard working, they are the watertower
a symbol to all who call this windy city home
this isnt a dream
drink it in
let it snow and remember what it means
that our bears are where they belong again
