Well, after making my second voyage to the drive in I have a few tips.
1) Warmth is your friend, bring blankets, lots of 'em. It still dips to around 10C at night and if you're not moving, you'll feel it. We brought 2 blankets but 3 may have been better
2) Pillows are your friend as well, sometimes you just can't get your seat in the right position, that's where a pillow to prop up your head or cushion an uncomfortable arm rest comes in handy. Preferably 2 per person.
3) Clean Windshield... do I have to explain this one?
4) Windows open is a must. Cellular respiration gives off water as a by product, a by product which will obscure your view to shit, you brought the blankets, snuggle up close and open those windows!
5) We brought outside candy and pop, then got popcorn there. It's the full movie expreince, they still make their henious profit on the popcorn, you get full, but not totally ripped off... I do not reccomend 7-11, it's like being raped by a midget instead, either way, your bum hurts. They WILL boot your ass out if they catch you with the outside food, the consession is how they stay open and well, i'd like them to stay open because one day I'll make it through all 3 movies.
6) Friday and Saturday it gets busy, so show up early. Not only that but they play 3 movies and later on in the summer the first one doesn't start until around 10:00, what that means is you might not get out of there until 3 if you watch all 3 movies, Caffeen is your friend, as is a long sleep the night before. Bathroom breaks inbetween movies is reccomended, and unless you want to feel like you've spent the last 6 weeks in space and falling on your face as soon as you exit the vehicle, strech often.
7) While your out there, get gas. You're on fraiser almost in abby, take a few more minutes to cruise down the road to the Shell or Esso and save a few sheckles on gas.
8) Car selection is key, you can bring lawn chairs but you've gotta sit infront of the car, you can't sit to the side, so if you're with a group, plan accordingly. The old mattress in the back of a pickup is allways popular as is beach chairs. Any car over 5 feet tall has to park in the back half (they block the projector)
9) Have fun, :)
10) How to get there. It's real hard, drive to Fraiser to 260th, hang a left... you're there..... Ok, I lied, a blind chimp with epilepsy, could find it.
