I'm Going Blind! Help Me to See!
It has become extremely evident that Joe and I need to get into an optometrist. I haven't been in 7 or so years, and I don't know if Joe ever has. However, I can tell my eye sight has changed enough to deem new glasses, and I would also like to go back to contacts. Also, I can tell that Joe's sight isn't what it should be (despite his constant denial).
Thing is, I don't have a regular optometrist in Portland. The one time I went here, it was through the OHP, so I didn't have much choice on who I went to. The way our insurance works is, we find someone, anyone, and they'll cover it.
So, does anyone have any suggestions? I'd prefer someone that will bill our insurance, instead of having to pay upfront and submit a claim, especially since we're going to, hopefully, be going at the same time. Also, someone that's good with people that are a little nervous would be good, as Joe's a little apprehensive. Someone that does Saturdays and/or evenings would be GREAT!
