Mmm, the pies are baking, the parade WAS on the TV (Joe thinks parades are gay; I informed him they are NOT gay, unless they're a Gay Pride Parade), then there was some football. Now, Joe's watching a movie and I'm reading many a post of people listing what they're thankful for. So, I figured I'd follow suit, as it's always good to remember what we have to be thankful for.
My loving husband, for putting up with me, no matter what.
My loving kitties, for tolerating their silly humans when they do things like forget to get cat food at the store, thus have to turn right around after getting home and go get it.
My family, because, though very spread out, we're still as close as ever.
Joe's family, for taking me in and treating me as their own for 4 years now.
My job, for being there. Yeah, it gets boring and/or stressful, but it's a great company ran by great people. They deserve to go far.
My health, because for being a "big girl", I'm still pretty damn healthy.
My apartment, because what is life if you don't have a roof over your head.
My spectacular friends from the many groups. I may not get to spend much time with you often, but when I do, I realize how wonderful you all are.
My car, for not completely dying on me.
These are just a few of the things that I can think of. I'm sure there are many more things I should be thankful for, or am and just don't realize it. I hope you all (well, most, since I have a few Canadians on here) have a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with love and laughter.
