Memorial Day
Memorial Day is a day in which we honor those who have served our country. It is more frequently associated with days off, sun, and barbecues, but we should all take time to stop and think of what is the true meaning of Memorial Day. When I think of a movie like Saving Private Ryan, it reminds me of the many people who paid the ultimate sacrifice to make this world a better place for all of us.
We Americans must not forget about our soldiers abroad. Whether or not you believe in the cause, don't forget the men and women over there making sacrifices.
Memorial Day also means I will most likely get the chance to play some limit poker at the borg, and for that, I am thankful!!!
