I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, I just hope it's not an oncoming train. I have been really busy with work, and home, and have not had time to do some things I really want to do. Such is life. You get married, have kids, both spouses work, and life gets crazy.
One of the things I want to do is play more poker. Obv. this is not really conducive to the family thing, so I need to pick my spots. I have re-done my basement, although I have been "around 75% finished" for like forever. I do like the way it's turning out, so my goal of hosting lots of home games is approaching reality. Unfortunately, my guy with the bi-monthly home games just had his second baby, so his games are on hold as well. I don't even have time to play online these days, so it's going to be great if my work projects get done soon.
The other thing I want to do with the basement is some video taping of my game show ideas. This probably sounds weird, but I have been making up scripts for game shows for about three years now. I have come to the conclusion that the scripts and ideas are worthless compared with simulated videos. It doesn't matter how poor the video quality is, a picture is worth a thousand words, and video is even better than that. I keep seeing a lot of my ideas pop up on some of the many new game shows, and I am getting panicky. I don't want to look like a copycat.
The future looks bright!
