The year 2006 kicked so much ass, but I don't want to take the time to write every single significant event that went on. There were the relationships, that crazy cottilion season, graduation, the longest summer ever including trips to Cabo and Canada, and the start of wonderful college life. All within the span of 12 short, emotionally packed months.
"As Ryan and I slowly finished off his amazing birthday cake from Red Ribbon, we noticed that our bites gradually got smaller and smaller as the cake's size dwindled. Chocolate Mousse from Red Ribbon. Damn that was good. Something so sweet never lasts forever, no matter how hard we tried."
-hah, I wrote this earlier this year talking about Ryan's bomb-ass birthday cake. But I think it applies to life in general. We can only prolong certain events for so long, but things eventually have to come to an end. But that's not a bad thing. I can always buy another cake, and next year is bound to be just as unexpected, eventful and surprising as the year before.
Happy New Year.
