Just came back from sleeping over at Carl's apartment, and I'm feeling pretty good after my usual shower and shave at home. Yesterday was unexpected in that I didn't expect to party it up a lil bit but it was fun. After the usual church and lunch at the brother's house, I played poker with my family. Not just like my brothers and cousins, but my aunt, uncle, mom, and lola. Ohh seeing my grandma go all in thinking she had a straight was priceless. She only had like 6,7,8, and a 9. hahaha. But anyways, my cousin was a lil irritated at his parents cause his trash compactor ended up being jammed. So we had to pull out the whole thing and carry it out to the garage. I believe he's gonna throw it out and just replace it with a regular trash can, too bad cause that was an old, old, old school trash compactor. Sometimes I wonder how he feels about his parents and people being able to enter his home without him or my brother in it. I understand the fact that the title of the house still belongs to his parents, and he is just technically paying them rent, but still.. I guess sometimes we never truely a private place from our parents till we're married.
After all that Mark and I headed off to Carl's house. Carl was going to drive us to the apartment for fun, games, and obviously, no sleep. Mark wanted a haircut from Carl first so I just practiced my skateboard skills outside his house. I can still ollie, but I'm still to nervous to jump over anything hahaha. I give Mark props on that stuff, I can just order him to jump over something anyways. In two weeks, I dunno what's gonna happen when I need a haircut down in SLO. It's gonna be pretty weird. I'm planning on having my first day of school haircut later this week. haha. Gotta look my best when school starts.
So after Carl's mom blows up and gets upset on how we're waiting for others to head to the city, we decide to drive out on our own. One interesting thing we saw on the car ride was how the clouds covered the city. It looks as if a tsunami was gonna hit Daly City by the way the clouds looked moving over the buildings. Ask Carl or Mark, it was sooooo trippy. I wish I could've taken a picture.. Once we got to the place it was very much a blur of activities from there. Discovered that Jeremy's dream girl was now impossible to have haha, headed on over to Nations, grabbed a cheeseburger(amazing), whomped on Carl and Niko's created characters in Fight Night, tried opening a beer bottle with another beer bottle, sang a bunch of gabe bondoc songs, etc. Oh I attempted to take in whatever was left in the bathroom, so I semi-hotboxed. haha. I was planning to stay up with Carl and Mark to make that 4 AM pie, but after the lights were off, I was too tired to even try.
Jeremy, John, Niko, Ryan, Justin, Glenn, Alex B., Duc, Danielle, Renee, and Chantal all came through that night. Nicole? haha, I dunno what happened to her.
Woke up the next morning, cleaned up, and headed over to Haight street. I guess everyone was still pretty tired cause we only went thru Buffalo Exchange and True, but I understand. I was surprisingly good to go that morning tho. Mark too I believe, hell, he's off on a run as I type. Chilled at Glenn's house from there, nice place they got there. Glenn cleans the place up well too, good to see that he really tries to keep the bottom floor tidy and smelling nice haha. Ate Mark and Carl's "pie", then Glenn's parents brought some chinese food ate that too, then saw the first part of MIB before heading back home.
Damn, that all happened yesterday. Hella stuff happened the day before that too. I'll just be quick on this day then.
