good bye my friend
I just want to say Thank You to everyone for all their comments and support. As I get the strength, I will be posting photos of my "son" Pumbaa through the years. This has been a hard time for me and Chris. I watched Pumbaa be born on October 20,1995 and I was there for him in his last moments on October 9,2009. He was my best friend for almost 14 years. I was with him as I "potty trained" him back in New York in the winter and the travel to Florida almost 10 years ago. He has had "step sisters" (Alex) and "step brothers" (Sammy) during his life. Even as he became older and a "grumpy old man" , he still was my baby.
I was there the day he was born on my nephews bed and was with him in the end on his last day.
I'll miss you son.
