There was a lot of jockeying in the lower positions during semi finals.

GG Crew 15 rowed with only 8 people on Monday. That was painful, although gg_crew reported from the rear steerer position that the extra light boat was "quite responsive." Expect a close race on Thursday between GG Crew 15 and DC Usual Suspects.

Mermaids had nine people in their boat on Monday, and a full boat of ten on Tuesday, but they couldn't quite nudge into 4th place for a chance at finals. They'll be on the docks for Sprints in about 15 minutes. The race to watch on Thursday will be between Phi Omega Fan! and DC Chicks.

DC Revolution's Monday time of 4:09:28, their slowest to date, scared them a little bit. They came back on Tuesday with the fastest time on the river this season. Blockheads has a lot of work to do on form if we have any hope of competing with that time. I don't expect the standings to change much during finals. The battle for third place will be close, but the first and second place times have been relatively consistent.

Times are wiped as we enter the finals.

For me, tonight will be all about carb loading.
