My Life Rocks!
136) 5 day weekend and a change of scenery for Thanksgiving. Spending some time with the parents and other family.
137) Advanced Wars: Dual Strike, the video game for the Nintendo DS, has eased my illness today. It's easy to forget about my nausea as I crush my enemies under my booted heel.
138) My new boss Mark. I'm excited to be working with him. He seems level headed and organized. He's already jumped in and saved me once. I have a feeling that new employees at Shopatron will wind up occupying more than a dozen slots on My Life Rocks before I reach 500.
139) Water jugs. The bright green half gallon water jug I purchased is really helping me drink at least 3 pints of water a day, another of my Daily Self Love goals. Pretty and practical, and rocking my health conscious self.
140) The Road, by Cormac McCarthy. Bleakly depressing and starkly beautiful. I've been listening to this on CD, and I'm completely stoked that I'll be able to finish it tonight on the drive to Hanford.
