Fantastic hike this weekend. Here's some thoughts that came of it.

The indomitable mayhemchaos said something along the lines of "That's why you have friends, to help keep you safe." This touched on my recent thoughts on the duality of existence, how one thing often contains its opposite. Saftey, containing danger in this case

As we walked along and I was holding your hand I thought of how wonderful it was to have you there. I thought of what a strong man you are and about the ways in which you are strong. I thought of how you are willing to hold my hand while we walk and how that helps me to be strong.

and recognizing people from photos
is not my strong point...

If we have met, it was probably in the
East Bay (SF) area.

And you flatter easily. I like that
